DR. JAKE DE GUZMAN

Doc Jake finished his veterinary
medicine degree from the College of
Veterinary Medicine-University of the
Philippines at Los Banos. He has
continually practiced in small animal
medicine since graduation. He has
special interest in small animal
medicine surgery.

In 2006, Doc Jake interned at
Uptown Animal Hospital in California,
USA for a few months to learn more
on advance veterinary medicine and
health care. Since then, he has
performed several surgeries involving
complex cases. Doc Jake is a
founding partner of Pasig Petcare
Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Kyle Lucero
in 2004 and has stayed at the
practice as a resident veterinarian.
His sharp analytical skills in
diagnosing diseases has been very
indispensable in the practice.

DR. MA. LEA VILLARUEL

Doc Lea finished veterinary medicine
from the College of Veterinary
Medicine-University of the Philippines
at Los Banos. She belongs to the Top
10 of her graduating class and
ranked 7th place in the Veterinary
Licensure Board Exam of 2003. She is
a member of the PVMA (Philippine
Veterinary Medicine Association) and
VPAP (Veterinary Practitioners
Association of the Philippines).

She started as a technical and
marketing head for a veterinary
company managing drug trials,
product research and market
development. She joined our team as
a resident veterinarian in 2006. She
has imparted her expertise in internal
medicine and preventive health care.
Doc Lea is very compassionate with
animals and is committed on
educating pet owners on their pet’s
health care needs.
